General Overview of Experience A world-class experience. Newly renovated (Fall 2018) facilities. Absolutely professional individuals in the Pilot Selection Office. Barry Holmes’ spiel is to reduce your stress and build your confidence. The panel put me at ease. Remember that Delta expects you to deliver safe, high-quality service and act with honesty, integrity and professionalism. I would recommend keeping that in mind when answering all interview questions.

How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks

Technical Test Questions Gold standard PowerPoint questions will prepare you to pass.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Aerodynamics, particularly Dutch roll and if it is most pronounced at high or low speed and high or low AOA. Very few math questions. No lead radial turn questions. Pretty general questions.
HR Questions 1. WWYD if FO answers phone during taxi and won’t hang up after you tell him to.
2. WWYD if CA descends below minimums because there is a very thin fog layer and knows you will see the runway just below it.
3. WWYD if one of the flight attendants is on their phone during your crew brief?
4. TMAAT you helped out a customer; TMAAT you helped out a customer not safety related.

Cog Test Jet Brain Games test levels 17, 21, 22, 31, 32 are the most important to practice.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 5 months.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast. Yes. I did 14 webinars and as a result, the HR portion was a breeze.
Any additional information you would like to add. Aim for 10 webinars through Emerald Coast. Spend 85% of your time prepping for HR, 10% for job knowledge test, 5% for cog trainer.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? No.
