Technical Test Questions TECHNICAL:
Excellent experience if you prepare!
There is little or no reason why this portion (Technical) shouldn’t be perfect as the material is extremely easy to memorize and is the easiest area to score points to help you in the overall process.
With that said, it’s important to prepare and detail the scenario as depicted on the diagrams and text- For example: Quote prior to entering runway both PF and PM shall state “Runway ___ Verified” “PF advances throttles to 40% manually advance to 85%” “Check Thrust” this provides the evaluator a true image of your study abilities and attention to details. Let the evaluator determine when too much detail is too much, until then talk away.
You are doing a chair flight ultimately from point A to point B and you are the “Captain”. To put into perspective, Pre-Departure Briefing, covering maintenance, Taxi (HOT SPOTS), takeoff, SID, abort criteria, anti-ice usage, all the nitty gritty briefing items expected in any 121 operation.
Be able to answer very basic IFR questions eg Holding speeds to altitudes or dimensions of the safe sector altitude on an approach plate – 25NM.

The video you may have the ability to pick, or it may be selected for you. Be familiar with your respective policies of operations, for example if you get a Terrain Warning? Or perhaps are involved in an un-stabilized approach? What will you do? You can only reflect on your experience pertaining to the scenario presented. Recall your company/military policies and go based on that and justify what or why you are doing the action you say you will do. Safe outcome is everyone’s point of focus.
Overall the technical can be accomplished rather quickly if you know your stuff. Safe to get a 100%! Prepare!
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Review Gouge, the interview is rather similar in most instances.
Cog Test N/A
Cog Math Questions N/A
HR Questions Very humbling experience and the recruitment team is phenomenal to say the least. This interview is essentially yours until you decide to lose it. They only allow you to have your resumes with you, nothing else. The trailer is rather roomy and plenty of water to refresh your mind. Only official airline apps recommendations are accepted, and no other documents were asked for or accepted.
Smile, this is your dream job!
TMAT via the “STAR” method of answering questions.
