HR Questions App review
Internal/external customers give me an example from your experience
As Captain enroute from US to Japan find out destination is closed do to natural disasters WWYD- followup what would you say to the passengers in a PA
As FO Captain repeatedly waits until last minute to start second engine and departs without company required 2 min warm up he says to save fuel WWYD- that doesn’t work he tells you to pound sand WWYD- after the trip anything else you would do or just let the next FO suffer thru it
You’re the CA enroute you get an anti-skid caution, after all non-normal procedures and checklists are done what are you thinking and going to do. Followup what would you tell the FAs when you briefed them, would you declare and emergency
Any questions for us (the interview panel) or anything else you’d Ike to add
Cog Test Lumosity was great, memory games and divided attention (the trains and coffee shop)
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 2 mo. But really my whole career
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Went to company sponsored workshops at Endeavor and talked with successful friends both helped tremendously just be yourself, I knew which items on my app were going to come up, if you have them be ready to talk about them
Any additional information you would like to add. A lot more idle time waiting around than anticipated on Day 1, I did HR early morning and finished Testing later in the afternoon some fatigue definitely set in, you can take breaks between computer tests I’d recommend it, I walked to the restroom splashed some water on my face and broke off a small piece of chocolate between each test just to reset mentally. Day 2 is no joke I drew blanks during some of the psychologist’s questions as a result I’m waiting for a PARB review
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Wish I would have completed my logbook audit sooner, I was stressing about my times not lining up with my app while I was studying
