Technical Test Questions RST 15 day program prepared me for the technical test. After the daily readings, I took my time and looked up concepts I didn’t understand as I went through each notecard/end of section question. I mainly used EEPP and ANA (highlighted version) to understand the concepts that weren’t clear to me. By the end of the 15 day program, I had read and re-read most of both of those books. I felt the ground courses were particularly beneficial as I didn’t know a lot of the end of section questions even after the 15 days of studying. Lastly, I went through the Golden Standard Powerpoint and again used EEPP, ANA, and the internet to look up the areas I didn’t understand. It took me about 45 days of studying after work and on weekends to complete the program.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? From my experience and talking with the rest of my interview group, the RST 15 day program will prepare you for the vast majority of the test. I’d recommend not looking through ride report after ride report to find the toughest questions and instead spend that time doing the 15 day program and understanding the concepts.
HR Questions Most of the time was spent going over my application and my different leadership and flying experiences with TMAAT intermixed. ECIC did a good job in forcing me to think through each phase of my career and the reasoning behind some of the choices I’ve made and the way it’s shaped me, which I feel was some of the best prep.
Cog Test More difficult than I expected. I guess I did well enough though.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 4 months
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC – well worth it
Any additional information you would like to add.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
