How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 6-12 months

Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Attended the United Veteran event in 2016 and never heard back. I truly thought my chances with them were over, then out of nowhere received an invite.
How many internal recs did you have? 3-4
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? None, simply had a folder of the paperwork in order per their request.
Technical Test Questions Basically conducted a tabletop excerise of a flight. Conducted all briefings, discussed an emergency, and approach including a go around. United will email you with required call outs. There were no suprises during the technical portion. Look, act, speak like a pilot and you will do great!
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? NA
HR Questions Besides not receiving any feedback from the interviewers, this was the easiest of the four interviews I participated in. Simply have multiple stories/experiences around the major subject areas of Leadership/ CRM/ Teamwork/ Conflict/ Emergencies/ Customer Support and of course Why United.

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 18 months
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC helped tremendously. This was my fourth airline interview using the same set of experiences to answer any HR questions.
Any additional information you would like to add. You will be asked to understand some simple Jeppesen knowledge including SIDs and STARs. Simple studying for this via the FAA website prepared me well. You will also evaluate a video of a flight and ask to discuss CRM. Know a few of the tenants and be able to speak to them as well.
