Technical Test Questions Nothing new but you can never prepare for all the possibilities they can ask you. I would still say I had to go 50/50 on 10-12 questions. Let’s just put it this way, it’s the first test outside the Navy where I left the room feeling like I just got my butt kicked. I think they set the bar low but you have to put the time in studying and understanding the concepts.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Nothing in particular, subject matters are in line with what has been previously mentioned on RST.
HR Questions No big surprises, best part of the interview process, however, this doesn’t mean you do not have to prepare.
Cog Test RST “new brain games” made the test really easy but I will say if that trainer doesn’t come up the test will be more difficult. Watch Tito’s webinar and review some of the gouge about the test that is out on the various sources on the internet.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 3 weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC and buddies that work with the airline
Any additional information you would like to add. Even if you have a CJO on day one you have to go through the MMPI and Psych eval on day two. I had a buddy of mine recommend taking a few practice tests for MMPI to see where you are at and if you trigger inconsistencies or certain profiles. I think this is a good idea and would do it if I have to take another personality test in the interview process. How can one pass the Hogan and trigger a PARB for the MMPI? Go ask the psychs I guess. This seems to be happening more often than not and I routinely find out around 30-50% of the applicants are getting PARB’ed for day 2 testing. Success rate is high but it still doesn’t make you rest any better at night.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Study hard, be prepared and good luck.
