General Overview of Experience (With the actual Interview Process) Very enjoyable. It’s been said before, but they really do try and put you at ease. This is advantageous for both the interviewers and the applicant. It puts the applicant at ease while giving the interviewers the “real” applicants personality.

Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No. I tabbed my paper logbooks starting with my Private, all the way through my ATP. I also tabbed all my type ratings. Did the same for my digital logbook, all the hours matched between my paper, digital and application.

Military logbook was separate. I tabbed it in the same manner.

I attached a sheet with all my certificates, ratings, endorsements and ground school, and color coded it. They were able to use this sheet to navigate through my logbooks to find what they wanted quickly.

Lastly, I broke down all my hours and put this sheet as the first page in my digital logbook. Mil, 121, 91, 135: PIC, SIC, MEL, Helo, TPIC, total airplane, etc. I also included the same hours as were listed on in AirlineApps.

No guessing, it was all in black and white, and calculated. They had no questions whatsoever.

I believe this helped set the tone for the interview.

TSA Scenario Experience in General Terms. PHX-DEN, briefed all items listed in the prep packet they sent prior to the interview. Briefed taxi & SID (questions on SID). Enroute non-normal, door light. Briefed Arrival (a few questions), unstable approach, divert, define emergency & min fuel, which airport based on your situation. Debrief items.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Initially trying to remember you’re in the airplane instead of sitting across the desk and role playing. It got easier after the first few questions. I felt at that point I knew how the interviewers wanted it to play out.
