General Overview of Experience Interview started at 6:45am with paperwork. They will tell you in what order they want the paperwork so don’t stress about the order beforehand. HR panel was at 8am SHARP with 2 pilots, and 1 HR rep. They really try to put your stress and nerves at ease from the second you walk through the door. They had water for you to use (and they highly encourage you to drink water between questions to break the awkward silence). First question right off the bat was “tell us about yourself.” That question set the tone for the entire interview, so ensure that is your strongest point of the entire interview. Next rolled into only 2 TMAATs, a few generic questions, and 2 formal WWYD questions with an impromptu WWYD from a TMAAT story. They asked if I had any questions for them and the panel was over in 50 minutes. It’s repeated on here, but it really did feel like a 10 minute conversation the time literally flew by.

10am MMPI and break for lunch when finished with that.

We all back up after lunch at 12pm with CJOs handed out literally 5 minutes after we all got back from lunch. Afternoon was drug testing, finger prints, and talking with the psych. When all said and done interview was over around 2pm.

You get an email later that day with the results of the psych, as well as the digital copy of the CJO.

How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Internal recommendation.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? Nope. Had electronic logbook professionally printed and bound. Make sure application is airtight. Interview panel started out with verifying most current application application (the app you update within 2 business days of interview) and signing that application. They do have your original application from when you received the interview invite on their iPads to compare during the interview. No questions with logbooks, application, or any other paperwork.
Technical Test Questions N/A
HR Questions They asked me not to share any of the questions they asked me, and I’m honoring their request.

However, any professional HR prep service will over prepare you for the interview, and they won’t ask a question you haven’t seen before. Just know the deeper meaning behind the question and choose from your 3 or 4 TMAAT stories. They ask questions based off of your experience and application.

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? From the day of interview invite to interview day.
How did you prep? Professional HR prep company
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help?
Any additional information you would like to add. Leave the stress at the hotel. It really was a great experience and everyone from the people working the security check in all the way to the pilot selection employees are rooting for you. The job is literally yours to lose by not prepping. The HR panel really isn’t stressful at all, especially if you’ve used a professional HR prep service. The panel is friendly, conversational, and just a great experience.

Due to the shear volume they are interviewing each day, they break the interview groups up into morning and afternoon. Morning HR panel starts at either 8 or 10am, and afternoon panel starts at either 12:30 or 2pm.

Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Yes, leave the stress at home. It really is a great experience.
