HR Questions 1. Fatigued FO and he will not remove himself from the flight. In short, I said I’d remove myself from flight, and when duty officer asked why, I would tell him crew not fit to fly, duty officer would all who, and I would say FO. They might not have liked this answer, don’t know.
2. Inflight, FO experienced fly symptoms and you’ve now been exposed, how would you handle? We spent extra time on this to. Was I simply “exposed” as they were saying, or was I symptomatic? Was never really made clear to me, despite repeated skiing.
3. You’re concerned about not having enough fuel, but delay waiting for truck. This is where I think I lost the CJO. As I asked for more info, was told we had enough fuel to destination, approach, missed, hold and alternate. I then said that I don’t have a concern with fuel, we have enough. Was then told that FO is concerned with fuel, he doesn’t trust GOC numbers. We then went around and around for 20 minutes…. Does FO think we need more fuel, or does FO just not trust GOC? It got pretty ridiculous, and I’ll sure they sensed my frustration.
4. What type operation is FedEx (i.e. 121).
5. Tell me about FedEx line operations.
6. What’s painted on side of aircraft.
7. Why FedEx.
8. Tell me about yourself, but no need to include information from your resume, we already have that in front of us.
Cog Test
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 5 weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC
Any additional information you would like to add. Call if you’d like to discuss. I didn’t get the CJO, so have no problem discussing with others.
