General Overview of Experience Everything was as previously briefed, I thought the Cog and Jkt went well, I knew I blew it in the HR portion, the questions were not what I expected
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? Yes
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? I had an application review service go over my application and found a couple of big errors
How many internal recs did you have? 3-4
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No, I had paper log books and found a 50 hour carryover issue the week of my interview, I typed a note explaining exactly where the error was (2009) and how I corrected it.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? cog once a day, and question bank at least once a day. Referenced EEPP and t34 guide. also went over old CFI & CFII notes
Technical Test Questions the questions were pretty straight forward, one or two could be eliminated almost immediately most of the answers were very similar so make sure you read them carefully
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? I was give two lat/long coordinates, and asked what the direct GPS distance was between them, I guessed. Also given a full IFR flight plan and asked how long I could hold.

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 5 weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? emerald coast, It helped but not enough I wasn’t able to attend an in person seminar.

Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? I wish I had paid more attention to the HR portion, and attended an in person seminar.
