General Overview of Experience 24 years, military then 6 months at Part 121 getting recency of experience. Last few years in military was minimal flying.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +

Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Reported more than 200 hours in the last twelve calendar months at 09:00, received invite at 13:00 that afternoon.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? Straightforward list to compile for military.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? COG, tested 5 times a week over four weeks. Practice, repetition, knowing what to expect.
JKT, testing and flash cards. Did not know about FaceBook group until week prior. Sweated that one, should have prepared more. Left test cell convinced I had crashed and burned.
Technical Test Questions Randomizer was torturing me with pilot math questions, I had far more than my peers. At least 10. Compared with peers who reported maybe 2 or 3.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Pilot math… OH GOD, NO!!! …Pilot math! Several descent and 3 degree related questions.
Cog Test RST graphic UI is more sophisticated than DALs. But DAL uses a touchscreen and stylus. Frankly, easier than RST.
Cog Math Questions Guessed. Not much to report. Did maybe four, felt like I did two correctly, maybe.
HR Questions I crushed it. Not being immodest but I crushed it.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Centerline Consulting recently and Emerald Coast a few years ago.

Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? More JKT prep. It just needs to be a focus.
