General Overview of Experience Great experience, they really went out of their way to help make you feel comfortable.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 6-12 months

Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Internal endorsement
How many internal recs did you have? 3-4
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No issues. They will make copies of anything you needed to provide but didn’t. Just have everything and try to follow the directions.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? RST. Great prep.
Technical Test Questions 1-2 were virtually identical to RST, the rest were on the same subjects. The question bank did not give my group the same questions. I got lots of air density stuff, others got more CG stuff.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? The math questions. Easier than the RST examples, but still hard.
Cog Test The 6 symbol to 6 number thing gives you a practice, then the actual tests. You might think that the second one was the ‘recall’ test. Throughout the test, don’t ‘braindump’ the 6 symbols – you might get them again.
Cog Math Questions I don’t recall any specific ones. Stuff like ‘Andy has some toys, Beth has three times as many as Andy. Sam has 1/2 the amount of toys as Beth. Chris has three times as many as Sam. Chris has 9 toys, how many does Andy have? Or same thing, but with $.
HR Questions WWYD if your FO is constantly behind the aircraft, and seems tired, but won’t call fatigued.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? Hard core for 6 weeks, but, in reality, off and on for years.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast. It helped a lot … but they can’t get the job for you. I didn’t realize how fast 8 mins goes in a SBI. It’s much harder in person than it was in the prep.
Any additional information you would like to add. Disappointed I didn’t get the job. Maybe I’ll get a second chance.
Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Focused more on the SBI. Had friends do ‘mock’ SBI’s on me.
