General Overview of Experience Great experience, very professional interview.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? Yes
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? I attended the October, 2017 Career Expo and a friend of mine submitted a recommendation to Pilot Selection recently. Hard to tell which one triggered the invitation.
How many internal recs did you have? 5+
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? RST. Great resource! Even though the COG portion is down, the Day 1 COG video and links with the Jet Brain Trainer should prep you for the COG test.
Technical Test Questions As others said, usually you can eliminate two of the answers easily.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? I don’t remember.
Cog Test
Cog Math Questions I only had time for 4 questions. All were percentage related.
HR Questions Very friendly atmosphere, they truly want to put you at ease. First they introduced themselves, then I had my 5 minute introduction. Then some college related questions. After that a couple of WWYD type questions. WWYD if CA was high and fast on the arrival constantly? WWYD if the lav was full, and the lav service provider says it will take a 30 minute delay to come out and service the lav? WWYD if you had an engine fire warning at altitude, but when the thrust lever is reduced to idle the warning goes away? I only had one TMAAT question, which was conflict related.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 2 months
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC, it definitely helped.
Any additional information you would like to add. Treat Day 2 with the same professionalism and get ready for more TMAAT and WWYD type questions.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? No.
