Cog Test
Cog Math Questions
HR Questions There two questions that stand out for me, probably because those are the two that I felt I got wrong.
What is the most important work group at Delta? I opened with that it takes a team to run an airline, I explained how I have done many things for many different airlines from office work, to Flying the aircraft. Being that Delta is a passenger Airline I said that a good flight attendant group is of paramount importance because they are both customer facing and have a safety function.
In retrospect I should have answered the pilots more specifically the Captains. The Captains set the tone of the flight, provide customer service, and also are arguably the most important safety backstop.
The other question that stands out is a WWYD if the captain briefied that he was not going to fly the noise abatement proceedure? I answered that I would first talk to him, and try to reason with him, then I would call prostandards, then I would call the chief pilots, and if none of that worked I wouldn’t fly with him.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? I started looking at HR questions 40 days prior
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? I used Emerald Coast and Rainier Flight Service years ago when I was hired by my current employer and I wish I had worked with Emerald Coast more recently.
Any additional information you would like to add. RST dose a great job of prepping you for the COG and Knowledge tests. I actually felt like RST questions were more challenging.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Spent more time on HR prep, maybe some face to face time to prep
