Which Airline did you interview with? Delta Air Lines
How many days between invite, interview, and listed availability?

If you did not receive the CJO why do you think you weren’t chosen to continue in the process? N/A
What is your experience? Military
Total Flight Time 1,000-2,000
Total Turbine PIC Time 1,000-2,000
General Overview of Experience I had an excellent experience. The Delta Air Lines Pilot Recruiting Team is very professional and efficient at what they do. Don’t worry about wearing a red tie with a navy suit and black shoes. As long as your suit is professional with a dress tie you will be good to go.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 6-12 months
Did you attend a job fair? Yes
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Had a friend submit an internal recommendation and received the invitation to interview two weeks later.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? RST, EEPP, T-34 Manual.
Technical Test Questions About 20 were almost word for word out of RST quizzes. Another 15 or so were similar, and I could pick the right answer. 15-20 more I could narrow it down to 2 answers and could take an educated guess. 5 I completely guessed on.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? FMS Question: You are flying along and your FMS courses are much different from your charts, WWYD? There were three answers about the database that I didn’t understand (I am military and have never used an FMS). The answer I picked was “use your navigational chart as the primary reference”.
Besides that, wording on many of the questions was poor. One regarding a missed approach had zero answers that matched the missed approach procedure. All the choices had at least one part that was wrong.
Cog Test Easy with RST practice. I was scoring ~869 during about 6 total practice tests. The only part I found different was the “previous number” level. The speed that the numbers show up is slower on the real test, which adjusted my speed that I was used to on RST.
Cog Math Questions The President’s office writes a written response to 60% of all letters received. The office wrote 384 responses. How many letters were written to the President’s office?
