General Overview of Experience They made you feel welcomed, they were very organized and efficient. I had seven others in the afternoon interview sessions. Technical Test Questions No real problems here, RST prepares you well for the test. I recommend spending time on the math problems, i had quite a few. IE 60:1 rule, descents crossings, VDPs etc… Like I said RST prepares you well but FedEx only gives you 60 mins to answer 60 questions so you need to be proficient in the math. Also your answers need to be spot on. a bunch of the questions had two answers that seemed could be the correct one. The test was heavy on aerodynamics, with only a few engine, lighting, runway and weather questions.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Probably for me was the 60:1 rule. I had two of them and the answers were really close together. IE how far are you from the station and lead in radials from an arc to approach.
HR Questions no second day for me unfortunately
Cog Test I wish I would have studied and practiced word problems more. I felt good about the test other than that. They only give you about three mins per question before it moves on to the next question. Be sure to wear a watch. Also there were no pencil or paper allowed during the COG test. The six symbol memory part came up two more time during the test. The process RST uses worked good for me, I still remember it, (IXT OLU)
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 1 month
How did you prep? RST and ECC.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast
Any additional information you would like to add. I was told that my application would stay active and to keep updating and that I would eligible for another interview in twelve months. I would like to Keep my RST account open so I can prepare.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Practiced the COG more.
