General Overview of Experience roughly 20 year F-16 only
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? <60 days
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Did an application update at the 1 month point, followed by an invite 4 days later. Not sure if that’s a coincidence or not.
How many internal recs did you have? 5+
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? None
Technical Test Questions 80-85% of my test seemed to match the topics studied on RST. The other 15-20% seemed to be from left field, so had to take my best guess.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Probably the 3-4 math problems and figuring out which formulas to use. Also had to define what “PDC” meant on a Jeppesen app plate. I don’t use them, and the simple acronym listing at the front of the book would have solved the riddle, but of course you don’t get that.
HR Questions About 20 minutes on reviewing my app and college transcripts. They like to focus on your lowest grades. Did not get a single TMAAT question, but did get 3-4 x hypotheticals. 1. WWYD as the FO if the Captain keeps missing crossing restrictions, 2. Divert, 3. Credible bomb threat,

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 3+ months prior
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC – I believe it helped me better organize my thoughts and stories to fit the expected format of the interview.
Any additional information you would like to add. i struggled trying to follow the 15 day plan on RST. The flashcards (disliked the quizlet versions) and tests/quizzes were invaluable. I took lots of notes while studying to help me remember the concepts.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
