How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +

Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? I asked one of my internal recs to get my app pulled.

How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 3 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? On the addendum, I had about 400 hours of flight time within 6 months and under “average hours per month,” I still had 25 hours/month. They asked 25 hours/month x 6 months doesn’t add up to 400. I admitted to them I forgot I still had that there. I’m on reserve, so I rarely flew when I first upgraded. I didn’t have the fancy logbooks. Just old school paper logbooks and they didn’t mind. They asked me about my grades in college and checkride failures.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? Mostly reading over ride reports and LOTS of practice on RST website. I read through Ace the technical pilot interview couple of times. I felt very comfortable taking the JKT.
Technical Test Questions I had a handful of VERY similar questions from RST. The other questions were very fair. It wasn’t too bad to figure out.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? I don’t remember honestly, but one of the guys from our group got asked what the distance was using coordinates.
Cog Test If you can deal with the RST cog test, the real thing is way easier. University of ILlinois TeXas O (U-LTXO). I had that come up 2 additional times.
Cog Math Questions I had a question that told me 2 prices and one of them were 4% off and the other was 5% off. How much of a discount did you get? I forgot the prices, but it wasn’t too bad.
HR Questions 1. Tell me about yourself from high school until now. 2. WWYD if a captain and a flight attendant sounded like they were in an argument? 3. TMAAT you gave great customer service. 4. WWYD if a captain asked you to do the PA and tell them we are delayed bc of the weather at our destination and actually it was a mechanical?
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? I used Cage, I think it helped. Not as much as I wanted it to, but I’m going to try Emerald Coast in a few months and give them a try!
