General Overview of Experience	It was an excellent experience. The selection team was very welcoming and it was obvious that they were excited for us and wanted us to succeed.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite?	6-12 months
Did you attend a job fair?	No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation?	I had a few internal recommendations put in and received a call within 30 days of that.
How many internal recs did you have?	3-4
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview?	3 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork?	No issues.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview?	I completed the 15 day getting started checklist on RST. Read through Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot.
Technical Test Questions	I don’t remember the specific questions, but most of them were aerodynamic or engine related. I had a few weather questions, a few rate of descent calculations, a holding question, and a few airport signage questions. The RST 15 day checklist prepared me to answer most of the questions. Some of the answers are very similar. Remember to choose the “best and most complete” answer.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test?	Rate of descent questions.
Cog Test	As advertised on RST.
Cog Math Questions	Much easier than RST questions. Made it through 4 or 5.
HR Questions	Tell me about your professional career. What are your strengths? Why should we hire you? TMAAT you had a conflict with a superior. TMAAT you had to make a difficult decision in the airplane. TMAAT you had an emergency. WWYD if the FAs arrive late to the aircraft and are flustered. You are scheduled to board passengers in 5 min. WWYD if the CA didn’t want to follow a company procedure? How would you escalate? Would you go to the Chief Pilot?
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?	3 months
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help?	Emerald Coast Interview Consulting. Absolutely helped!
Any additional information you would like to add.	Remember to keep a positive attitude and try to stay relaxed throughout the interview process. I believe they are evaluating your personality and social skills just as much as they are gauging your knowledge.
