How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? Using RST, RST was spot on with the COG. The study guides helped out quite a bit for the JKT, the questions were different but are the same concept.
Technical Test Questions Few decent rate calculations and distance to decent questions, few weather, engines questions, fuel system questions, and lots aerodynamic questions. You have to know the material and concept because most of the questions were different from the practice questions on RST, I only had maybe two questions that were the same practice questions on RST but the answers were worded differently.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? If all the boost pumps were on and the cross flows pumps were on, explain how would the fuel flow from each tank? the answers had variation of biggest boost pump tank would empty first, the tanks that directly supply the fuel to the engine empty first, the tanks would empty at the rate of the boost pump, and one other answer that I can’t remember.
Cog Test It was much slower than on RST, and made it easier. I only did four practice test, and work on the ones I had some trouble with, even then I did not spent that much time on them.
Cog Math Questions Really easy, just practice the ones on RST and you will be fine.
