General Overview of Experience Overall good experience. It happens just like the other trip reports state.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? Yes
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? 2017 Delta Pilot Recruitment event.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? None.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? 15 Day checklist, then used the flash cards to review. Didn’t really work the COG and math stuff until 3 days prior to interview. There were maybe 5 questions that didn’t seem very familiar, the rest were covered in RST.
Technical Test Questions I used my scratch paper to draw radials and holding entries. Maybe 2 descent questions, but they weren’t complicated like in RST.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? N/A
Cog Test Seems slowed down after doing RST. The test at the interview is easier.
Cog Math Questions It’s multiple choice, and you get more time between responses, and the answers are so different you can almost guess after doing a step or two of math.
HR Questions
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?

Any additional information you would like to add. My HR experience did not go as planned. I was prepared to answer a variety of questions, but my interviewers focused on some items on my application which I did not have canned responses to. They asked about military schools and a job change last year, topics which are easy to talk about but will be presented differently when I go back in 6 months.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
