General Overview of Experience Overall outstanding experience! I had minimal time to prepare for my interview and I needed to focus on the big ticket items and cut through all the noise. I can’t emphasize enough how vital RST was to my successful interview!

Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation?
How many internal recs did you have?
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview?

How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview?
Technical Test Questions
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Overall the JKT tested me on concepts of turbine engine mechanics, basic navigation, and aerodynamics. I think I don’t think there was anything especially difficult about the test if you understand the basic concepts. That being said, I never cracked a single pub open to read an entire source document. Call me lazy, but I have a strong background in the concepts and I didn’t have time to sit down and read an entire publication that I’ve read while going through flight training in the military. The practice tests on RST was enough to spark my memories of past studies, and refresh my understanding of general concepts. I feel this was enough to prepare me for the “meat and potatoes” of the JKT.
Cog Test The Cog trainer on RST was perfect. The RST COG trainer was all I needed to knock this test out of the park.

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? I used Career Takeoff, based out of Dallas, TX. I met the CEO during her brief while I was at Higher Power for my ATP/737 Type Rating course.
It was an outstanding resource for the HR prep. Sidenote: Rebekah Krone is the CEO and she worked directly with me for my prep. She used to work in the HR/Hiring department for Southwest Airlines for around 15 years. She offers a 4 hour face to face rehearsal interview with full role playing of interview day, followed up with a 2 hour top-off over the phone. She also offers to look over all of your paperwork to ensure all flight time, PRIA, etc is air tight. I interviewed with SWA and was offered the CJO with flying colors. I simply rehearsed my HR techniques I learned for SWA interview, by myself and felt totally confident going into the Delta interview.
Bottom Line: You need to use somebody to help you with the HR portion. I’m sure Emerald Coast would be awesome…but in my case I used the company that was the most convenient.
Any additional information you would like to add. RST was absolutely SOLID GOLD. I couldn’t have been successful without it.
Tito: You have an excellent operations going here. THANK YOU!!!
Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
