How many internal recs did you have? 5+
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks

Technical Test Questions Slightly easier than RST. The questions were not verbatim but pretty close, and the questions tested your understanding of the concepts.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Choose the best definition of EPR and what it does. Choose which of the following would cause interference with the ILS signal. Both questions had 2 answers that looked correct. On a Jeppesen approach, what does [number] mean?
Cog Test The Cog test seemed to emphasize CORRECTNESS over speed, so I was slower but made sure I answered correctly.
Cog Math Questions
HR Questions “In 3-5 minutes, tell us about your aviation career starting in High School.” “Why did you go to [University]?” “I see you are the coach of [youth sports]. Tell us about that.” “What was the most challenging part of [University] and why?” “Tell us about a time you had to resolve a conflict between coworkers?” “What is it that you will bring to the Delta Team/why should we hire you?” “You’re the Captain; how would you give a briefing to your crew at the beginning of a flight/trip.” “You’re a First Officer and it’s the last day of a 3-day trip and your Captain has been landing high and long every day and is not responding to your feedback.” “You’re a Captain going into XYZ field and the ATIS says the field is closed and it looks like you’ll have to divert.”
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? I did my ECIC in-person seminar before I had an interview date. It ended up being 1 month before my interview invite.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast. Yes. I did the phone top-off 6 days prior to the interview, which gave me plenty of time to review notes and do more “research” on myself.
Any additional information you would like to add.
Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
What can we do to improve our services? Advertise your FB page as a means to meet with fellow interviewees the day before. I only thought of this the day prior, or maybe I just missed it. But if you want folks to join it, this is a big lure.
