General Overview of Experience They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The admin for pilot selections will even tell you. “I have one rule and one rule only! leave all your stress and anxiety at the door, once you enter our office it’s a stress-free zone. The process was as previously described. We showed up around 0620 and got badged at the security office. We then proceeded across the street to the pilot recruitment office. The admin will come out at 0645 to start the day. Our class was divided into two groups. The first group completed the interview panel first and the second group was doing the MMPI first. They have a schedule with your names on it and will have an estimated timeline for you. The MMPI was brutal. Answer truthfully and not what you think delta wants. If you are not consistent in your answers you may have to take it again. We had a few guys who had to take it twice. The panel portion of the interview was straightforward… They welcome you and make it a low-stress environment. I had a 21 year captain and an 8 year FO. There is also one HR representative. The HR rep does most of the talking. They ask you to start off with an Intro, after the intro you get into the TMAAT and WWYD. They each asked me three questions. After completing the panel, we had a lunch break. After the lunch break, they notified the few who didn’t get the CJO. They’re very professional about it and very discrete. Once that process is complete, they come out and hand out the CJOs to the remaining applicants who have completed the MMPI and panel interview. The rest of the day consisted of re-taking the MMPI for those who had to do that, followed by fingerprinting and drug test. The last step for me was the Psych one-on-one interview which lasted about 20-30 minutes. This consisted of telling me about your childhood etc.. TMAAT scenarios and highlights in your career… I would highly recommend RST and its process. The biggest takeaway from the RST process for me was how to articulate and word my intro. I also found it useful to have a team to bounce questions off of and get advice from them.
