General Overview of Experience Extremely professional and friendly. Overall a really great experience. From the first greeting with the receptionist, to the manager of pilot selection having a warming welcome for us to individually introduce ourselves, to meeting the entire hiring team. Everyone tried to make you feel welcomed and part of the Delta family already and that they want you there for a reason. Now it’s time to just shine as being you. No one is out to get you and they truly make that known.

HR Questions Nothing crazy. Come prepared with stories that fulfill stress/conflict, leadership, customer service, critical thinking/decision making. Don’t be a robot with them just have them in your back pocket so you can plug and play with however they ask their questions. I personally prepared 3-4 stories per category and it helped since there’s no way to plan the questions you’ll be asked.

Expect some follow up questions from your stories or some situational based questions based on your stories. Nothing hard just some questions to see how you work as a team/respect your team.

(Ex. So based on that conflict story… What if that person didn’t respond that way? What if they did this instead? How would you have handled it? If all else failed then what could you do?) Once again, be yourself, they are not out to get you. They just want to know how you think and act in every day situations that we are used to anyways.

How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 4 weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? RST Delta and Cage
How did you prep? Telling my stories to co-workers, friends and family and seeing how they respond to them.
Any additional information you would like to add. Be yourself and try not to stress. I know that’s easier said than done. Get a good night sleep prior.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? N/A
