Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation?	Endorsement from a Fedex pilot.

How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview?	3 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork?	None. I used ExcelPilotLogbook to print out a spreadsheet into a Jeppesen logbook format, then had that bound at Staples.
Technical Test Questions	Nothing harder than what was on RST. Some simple math problems, 60:1, “when would you descend,” aerodynamics, holding. Spend the time on RST prep and you’ll be fine.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test?	They give you a holding clearance and tell you you’re on a XXX heading to the VOR. Without a HSI in front of me, I had to think about it. There was also a question about when to descend using a 3 degree descent but the only correct answer used the “3X altitude to lose” rule of thumb. They’re close, but not quite the same so I spent 2 or 3 minutes redoing the math to check my answer.
HR Questions	Why Fedex? Biggest career setback? TMAAT you had to make a decision without all the information. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? If you don’t get hired today, what will you do? Will you reapply to Fedex?
Cog Test	Watch Tito’s video on the COG, then do the practice tests but don’t spend a ton of time on it.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview?	2 weeks


Any additional information you would like to add.	The SBI was by far the most stressful part for me. It’s an incredibly fast, overwhelming 6 minutes, but do your best and debrief where you messed up.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?	No. 2-3 weeks was the right amount of prep time for me.
