General Overview of Experience Had a really excellent experience for the two days. Take the tests seriously and parse out the time for study – people had reported a wide variety of topics on their tests so you never know what you’ll get. RST Cog prep is clutch – I don’t know how people could pull this off if they go in cold. Our group lost 2 after the test day.
FedEx clearly works hard the second day to make you as comfortable as possible. All of the reviews here give you a good idea of how it goes. You may do the SBI or the panel first – it’s random. Lunch was provided and most everyone stayed around a little later to chat even after they were done with their interviews.
I left my phone off all day and highly recommend staying an extra night so you don’t have added stress of catching a commute or afternoon flight.
FedEx definitely feels like a family, as cliche as it sounds. They make you feel so comfortable in the panel that it almost threw me off a little, which probably helps to balance things and keep you away from the “rehearsed” responses.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Ironically, I hadn’t updated the app in  months when the invite came.
How many internal recs did you have? 0
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 3 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? None.
Technical Test Questions Again, huge test bank. I’ve talked to folks that had more of some specific area, but mine was varied.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? I did have a few questions relating to EPR which I was weak on
HR Questions
Cog Test
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? Did academic portions over two years ago, so had to refresh and then all the webinars were done in the 10 days prior to interview.
How did you prep? Read all material to understand concepts vs memorization.
Any additional information you would like to add.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?  I would start the study at one month out if I were to do it over.
