General Overview of Experience Great, however the test back questions were few and far between on the actual JKT.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 6-12 months
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Internal rec.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? Did not do the 15 day checklist or flashcards…wish I did. Only did COG trainer and exam test bank (all of them).
Technical Test Questions A lot on ground effect (approx. 5), only 3 time/distance/descent point, etc. Very little on Weather…heavy on Aero.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? When leaving ground effect on takeoff, what happens to thrust required and AOA?
Cog Test Easy…thanks to RST COG.
Cog Math Questions Simple math, addition, etc.
HR Questions Leadership style; conflict resolution between coworkers…how did you handle it?; hardest part about flying the line for Delta?; Cptn wants to takeoff prior to the second engine running for two minutes…WWYD?; stressful time in your last job, how did you handle it?; Tell me about this UNSAT flight during your training.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? Month and a half.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? ECIC, yes.
