Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? I would have spent more time studying navigation. About a third of my test was made up of navigation questions. Even if you think you know the subject well, TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW IT. Since the test is computer generated on the spot you don’t know what subject areas your test will predominantly be made from. I spend countless hours practicing math questions for the test and only got one. What killed me was in the last ten questions I got five NDB tracking questions. Not having reviewed NDBs since my flight school days I had totally forgotten that bearings are from the station, unlike VORs. Of course it hit me afterwards as soon as I submitted the test that I had made that mistake. My suggestion is to put the same amount of effort into every subject area.
