Technical Test Questions Tabletop with a current active CA covering a flight from one of the hubs to an outlying airport. Know the callouts cold. I recommend speaking with a United FO or CA while you prep to discuss the CA briefing and the departure and arrival briefings. Emerald Coast’s tech webinar was helpful. Have a plan to divert and understand how to navigate the United 737 checklists in the iPad (your CA will help and I recommend going thru it with him or her prior to starting). Know Jepp products. If you can get ahold of an iPad with Jepp Pro on it, I recommend doing so, it was helpful to review all the hubs and available products.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Tech portion was as advertised.
HR Questions Great experience with one active pilot and one HR rep. Intro about self, how you got into flying, etc. It was all a blur because it was so fast (40 mins). TMAAT questions. I do recall the list in the RST prep materials covered all of them so there were no surprises. They will end with “Why United”.
Cog Test N/A
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? two weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast, yes
Any additional information you would like to add. None at this time, but I’d like to give a shout out and a huge thank you to the RST team for another successful prep, you guys and gals rock! I am a very pleased customer.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? No.
