If you did not receive the CJO why do you think you weren’t chosen to continue in the process? N/A
What is your experience? Military

General Overview of Experience The overall experience was great. The interview panel makes you feel as comfortable as they can and just want you to relax and be you. They started by introducing themselves and their backgrounds. Then it was my turn. After we went over some paperwork we started with the interview.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 1-6 months
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? I attended the Mil 2 ATP course for my ATP at the Delta Training Center.
How many internal recs did you have? 3-4
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No issues.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? As soon as I got the invite I scheduled my interview for 2 months later. The first month I read Mental Math For Pilots, Everything Explained For The Professional Pilot, and Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators. The second month I went over everything in RST from taking the JKT and COG trainer test. If you miss something on the JKT, then go back and review the concept. COG trainer is practice.
Technical Test Questions I did not get one question from the RST. However, the same concepts were tested. So in order to succeed you have to understand the concept and apply it to the question.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? The hardest part was watching your time. So keep moving and do not get stuck on a question. Take your best guess, mark it down, and if you have time go back and review at the end.
Cog Test RST: PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Read the directions during the test, relax, and have fun. There are no surprises if you did the COG trainer on RST.
Cog Math Questions Again I did not see any repeats from RST. You just have to break it down and keep it simple. RST has some webinars as well as on the Facebook RST page.
HR Questions WWYD: You are almost to you destination and you notice you are tight on gas. Thunderstorms are up ahead, but you see a small gap between two cells up ahead. What’s your decision?
WWYD: You are flying with a Captain you know very well. You noticed on the first leg that he was missing radio calls and just not himself. Second leg he misses more radio calls and some checklist items. You have another two days with him. What are you going to do?
TMAAT: Tell me about a time your leadership was challenged?
TMAAT: Tell me about your most challenging day? Why was it challenging and how did you overcome it/succeed?
TMAAT: Explain why you failed your initial copilot C-141 check ride.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 2 weeks
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast
