General Overview of Experience The overall experience was very good. They were super friendly and polite and made you feel very welcome. Everyone did everything they could to put you at ease and to explain everything they would be testing you on, etc.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? no, No internal recs.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 4 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? Nope, however, apparently I forgot to put one of my colleges on my application. However, it was on my resume and I brought the transcripts. I was questioned about it. They asked me what I was trying to hide. I was taken back by that question. My response was, “Nothing, its on my resume and I brought the transcripts, it was an honest mistake” Seemed fine with it.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? I followed RST’s program. There is apparently a webinar on RST explaining the COG test in better detail. I did not find out about it until, the day before the test. So I skipped it. I still passed, but after getting briefed on it, it has some great info. I feel like it should be included in one of the Day prep sessions.
Technical Test Questions None
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Some of the Math questions involving radials were tough. The rest was basic knowledge and I felt prepared enough to handle it without much issue.
Cog Test As advertised. RST is definitely harder than theirs.
Cog Math Questions Dont remember. But if you can get RST’s you can get enough of these to pass that portion.
HR Questions Practice, Practice, Practice out loud and get comfortable.
Tell me about a time you had to De-escelate a time between 2 crew members.
Why did it take you so long to finish college? (paid as I went)
You fly cargo, we fly cargo, have you noticed any differences in the cargo you fly vs what we fly? (this one caught me off guard, I asked for clarification, if he ment 2-day express, custom critical or whatever. Then he asked me what custom critical was. Then asked for an example. Then asked if they could carry Lithium Ion Batteries. )
—–Not sure what they were asking for on that one. Apparently they have a very active charter department.

Tell me about things you did to improve things at your airline?
What are you greatest weaknesses?
What is something of yours that you would like to improve in the cockpit? (He said, for example, his scan. I said, while I am very good with the FMS, as I am still somewhat new to Boeing, there are more things to learn and I would like to continue to improve my depth of knowledge of it.)

How do you handle fatigue at your current job?
If you had a layover, in your base, and you live there, what are your thoughts if we had to make you skip that layover and continue work, if you had plans……I said, while I would like to not cancel plans, while I am at work, I am at work, and that is a chance I take.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 1 month
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast, It did not help with the Panel interview. I did find the SBI prep, very helpful.

Is their anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? I would of loved to of read Everything Explained For the Professional Pilot 2x. And I would liked to of had a better HR Question base. Most I saw, seemed to Focus on Delta.
