General Overview of Experience 10 years of flying active duty in the Air Force. EC-130, E-8, and E-11 experience.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? <60 days
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? No, just kept my application up to date every week or two.
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 8 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? None. All of my flying time is with the military, so I just provided my big green folder on interview day. I used MilKeep to help with filling out applications and making sure my reported times in PilotCredentials made sense based on my military flight records, but unless you have other time to report outside the military, the big green folder will suffice on interview day.
Technical Test Questions N/A
Any additional information: Very laid back atmosphere. Just bring what they ask for and you’ll be fine. For example, I’ve seen previous posts about bringing transcripts to the interview; while that was a requirement in the past, they no longer require them. Again, just read their email carefully and give them what they need and you’ll have no issues.
