General Overview of Experience Very laid back and welcoming interview. Day 1 was testing – testing was difficult as expected. They called after completion of Day 1 to tell me to come back for Day 2 which was the HR interview and the situational based interview.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 1-6 months
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? No
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 3 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? No.
How did you prepare for the JKT/COG portion of the interview? RST prep
Technical Test Questions I cannot give details because I signed an NDA. But the questions were difficult. To prepare, read the extra explanations on the RST prep and then dive into topics that you don’t understand in the books and through videos. I had several questions on EPR and flaps. Only a few math problems.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? Multiple seemingly conflicting questions about EPR with very long multiple choice options and with few differences between them!
I barely made it through the test in the allotted time.
Cog Test Was as expected. Practice the first 19 and you’ll be good. The hardest ones were the math problems and the one where you had to keep the plane centered on the red line. It wasn’t exactly the same as the cog trainer but it was close enough.
Cog Math Questions Common sense. I can’t give details because I signed an “NDA”
HR Questions Everyone in my interview group had a slightly different experience depending who they interviewed with-there were 4 different sets of interviewers. I had no TMAAT situations. Only hypotheticals. They said I could tell a tree I was story if I had one for a hypothetical.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? 1.5 months
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Emerald Coast
Any additional information you would like to add. They feed you lunch on a day 2!
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process? Studied the Job Knowledge more, although I passed so I guess I studied enough. I just felt like I failed.
