General Overview of Experience They were very welcoming and relaxed. Overall a very good experience.
How long did you have your application in before you received an invite? 12 months +
Did you attend a job fair? No
Did you do anything special that triggered the interview invitation? Internal rec
How many internal recs did you have? 1-2
How long was it from the time of your invite to the actual interview? 6 weeks
Did you have any issues with logbooks, application or paperwork? I got a “fixit” email in March about not having a valid medical on file. Updated it within an hour of the email. Just shy of six months later I got the invitation to interview.
During college I had two classes pursuant to my masters degree. My college put gave me incomplete’s when I had to go into surgery. My last transcript showed them as incomplete’s but the transcript during the interview had them changed to F’s. I’d suggest ordering two official transcripts to make sure everything matches. Luckily I had explained everything about grad school even before being asked about my two failures.
Technical Test Questions Most of them were very similar to what was on RST. Only two math problems.
What was the hardest technical question or content you experienced during the job knowledge test? The math questions.
HR Questions The two major questions were about a Captain who is unwilling to follow a noise abatement procedure no matter what, and a flight attendant being certain that there was human trafficking on board.
Cog Test Study up math. That was the hardest part. No pen and paper for that portion.
How long prior to the interview did you prepare for the HR portion of the interview? Six weeks.
Which HR Prep service did you use and did it help? Cage Consulting. Yes.
Any additional information you would like to add. Enjoy the experience. Relax and try not to tense up. They know most people are nervous.
Is there anything you wish you could have done different to prepare you for this process?
